Growth after 2 1/2 Months???

Hello, I had 1,100 grafts transplanted in mid-December of 2008...so it was only about 2 1/2 months ago. I swear though that I see some stubble growing in. Is that possible? Do you think those are the new transplanted grafts or just other hairs that were going through their own lifecycle? Seems prett...

I used the biotin spray RELIGIOUSLY post-op and the scabs were gone in no time. I carried it in my car. I brought it to work. I was obsessive about it. Now...I have never had a procedure without the spray so I can't comment on what the recovery would be like without it...but...my post-op recovery wa...

I didn't believe it until I had my first transplant...but there is absolutely zero visible scarring as a result of Cole's procedure. I had my second one a month ago...the new implanted hairs fell out (as expected) about two weeks ago...and there is absolutely no sign that anything was done to my hea...

forhair, I would double-check this response with the Doctor just to make sure. I'm not doubting your integrity, just suggesting that perhaps you have not communicated with the Doctor on this point for some length of time. I am 99% sure that another doctor helped extract units during the long, labori...

chrisdige, I hear ya man. I'm not trying to be negative or rain on your parade...your hair looks great. I'm just wondering why when, all other things being equal, you would go with the strip as opposed to Cole's technique? Is it cheaper? I don't even know the cost of a strip procedure and I don't kn...

chrisdige, I'm really happy that you're pleased with the work that you had done. For the life of me though I don't know why anyone in this day and age would CHOOSE to have a scar put in the back of their head?!? I don't care if you wear your hair long or short, I just don't get it. If I had my appen...

Honestly man...I don't remember where I bought the shampoo or how much I paid. I like to buy those types of things in bulk and not worry about it for months or even years at a time. I have enough Haircycle shampoo to last me three years...I'm not even kidding! Good luck!

In other words, he waited 3 years to start taking Propecia after his transplant. That seems irresponsible to me. Why go through the trouble and expense of a hair transplant and not adhere to one of the primary rules...take Propecia to slow down progressive loss. I have a friend who did the same thin...

I use it twice a week and my scalp never gets affected negatively by the Rogaine. In other words, in the past my scalp has gotten dry, itchy, and flaky from the Rogaine. This time around, with the addition of the Nizoral, I no longer have that problem. So to that extent, I am very satisfied with the...

I personally read this forum at least 5 times a week. It's part of my daily routine along with Gmail, Facebook, and my online banking. However...I rarely post. And just a quick note: I had 1,100 grafts put in last year and it has been an amazing experience. I am scheduled for 1,000 more this Decembe...

The real question here is: Was his gentleman taking Propecia? If I had to take a wild guess, I would say no. In 2003 he had his first transplant. In 2004, he had a virtually full head of hair, and only 4 years later he had thinned quite a bit. I would really love to know if he consistently took that...

I had about 1,100 grafts put into the frontal hairline. In terms of "coming out"...I guess that's a personal thing. I've always had a sort of self deprecating approach to life anyway...so as long as I'm the one who is teasing myself, then nobody else can really beat me to it. I'm totally cool with i...

Hey Nobel Victim, Thanks for the response. My post was actually over a year ago and I had my procedure with Dr. Cole this past December. I was worried about absolutely nothing. I actually ended up shaving my head short several months before my procedure...liked the look so much that I canceled my su...

Hi, Nobody responded to my post so let me ask again. I have been going tanning the last couple of days and I have been wearing a hat so my grafts don't get any light. I look a little silly though because a tan line is forming on my forehead. I had my grafts on my recessions a little over 2 months ag...

RickH, I made sure to do my procedure during a holiday weekend to give me a little more time. However, I had the procedure on Dec. 17th and my entire family came over my house on Dec. 25th (Christmas obviously) and it wasn't until the end of the night that I told everyone about the transplant. They ...

Cleanhead, I am in my mid-thirties as well (33 to be exact). I had 1,100 or so grafts with Dr. Cole a little over 2 months ago. However, I had been taking Propecia religiously since I was around 27 yrs. old. I have also taken Rogaine off and on during that period. I have no problem using the medicat...
