hi Trophius, I use this and I think it helps, but as always when you take a number of meds / herbs its really very hard to say for sure what really helps. That said I have used this for a year now and I think I have been pulling less hair out of the bath plug, for what thats worth. It is a bit of a ...

Hi,

I haven't heard of this drug, but I'm sure a lot of people would love to hear how you get on with it. Always hard I know as I'm really not sure how much good proscar does for me, it dosnt seem to regrow hair so if its not growing it back for you then how can you tell.

Well, this is no medical comment but when I stared using 'spiro' I think I saw less shedding. But that said I use the 15% xandrox, & take 1mg of proscar & sawpalmentto & zinc & eat well etc etc. So I cannot say its saving my hair for sure. But I think I will keep it in my obsessive c...

HI Sureshot. Is Bosley even that cheap? $2 is just over £1 per graft. I think you should be very carful of the wording of any offer on those terms. For example, my nemesis the Nobel Clinic offers on its web site something like "2000 follicles for £1500", which sounds a bargain, BUT the catch is th...

Hey Drew,

Good stuff, how come your after such full grafts? (5/6 hair) is that just becuse you have very thick hair and thus very dence fu's or just a desire for volume?

Just curious as I'm totlay won over by the 1 or 2 hair fu for a natural hairline!

Hi, if its not too late, I think you should stop any suplemnt which makes your blood thiner, as this makes it harder to place your grafts as you bleed more from your recipiant (nad donor) site. So EFA's B vitamins, most mineral are all out. I think creatine, might be good to suspend. Along with aspr...

Hi Neil, I would keep the faith with this forum as you do get some of the very best people answering your q's, but not this time! I'm just an amateur! I think you might be better getting hold of a product like toppix (sp) for your bald patch as ink cant be good for your skin. let alone your grafts. ...

post operative swelling? & headband

Dear All, I just re-read the post opp instructions and noticed the sugestion of wearing a headband to stop any swelling before it settles around the eyes. Apparently the swelling can then be pushed around the side of the head where the lymphs will take care of the fluid. So my question is how tight ...

Thanks Styles, I'm keen to visit Stone Mountain, we dont really have any 'wilderness' in the UK and I really want to see some Georgia countryside! Whats the best way to get there from Noth Springs? 'Near' in the UK is typically 10 miles or so, but America is so vast that I guess it might be several ...

Blood supply & hair growth?!?

Dear All, A lot of the more 'dubious' hair growth products, such as say fabio 101 or the laster comb, claim to work by boosting blood supply to the hair follicles. This always seemed a bit weak to me but is there any advantage to boosting blood supply to the scalp when it is done in conjntion with i...

I think the short answer is to not worry. 5AR is present in the body where the body has certain male hormones, but 5ar is not those hormones. Think about it this way. All criminals are human beings, but not all human beings are criminals. The various drugs you mention inhibit, block 5ar. it does not...
