Hi I am 8 months post-op (strip surgery). I can feel that my donor scar is raised when I wake up in the morning, but it becomes flat after I have massaged it and then it remains flat for the rest of the day. Why is this happening? Is this scar a raised/thickened/hypertrophic scar? And is it appropriate to FUE into it? Thanks.

How much density in Follicular units might be required adjacent to some larger grafts in order to make them blend in? Is it often smart to de-bulk them while transplanting adjacent to them?

This is my hairline & front 3rd that was tranplanted by dr rogers in 1997 / 98, i cant remember the exact amount of grafts as it was 10 years ago, but i think it was around 600 done in 2 procedures.
I will be going to atlanta in june to hopefully have a more realistic hairline created and the front 3rd thickened with 2800 grafts, im not sure how much of an improvement it ...

What haircycle products are good for just helping to maintain one's hair. Can these be used in conjunction with meds?

Which forms of body hair have had the most promise? I have read about body hair being used in the hairline when it comes from the leg or some places where the hairs are a bit fine Is this accurate? Is this type of fine BHT better than scalp hair for fine hairline work? This was the idea I have gotten from time to time reading posts.

When de-chunking larger grafts how do you decide what to redistribute and what to leave intact. I have some larger grafts. They are providing some bulk, but I would prefer that all or part of them be redistributed. I saw one answer Dr. Cole gave about this where I think he said you don't get a 100 percent return when redistributing, but is there a happy medium, where maybe you remove and redistribute some completely, ...

Which Chicago area doctors would you recommend for scar repair? In addition, is the FUE the best reapair method?
