It been a month since my third surgery with Dr. Cole but this is my first with PRP. and the healing is great. My scabs were 95% gone from scalp in 6 days as apposed to 12 - 14 days before. I was able to resume normal showering by day 6 or 7 and by day 8 the only real sign of any surgery was the slight purple tint to my scalp. It also turned my previous doctors strip scar purple and made it more noticable but it has returned to normal at the 4 week mark ( I am hoping this surgery will virtually eliminate it). In summary the healing was great and to give you some perspective, I would say that a person with no strip scars, could return to work without a hat and no on would no you had a hair transplant after a week, as long as you can explain the shaved head. Also I was doing light exercise 20 minutes on the treadmill at one day after surgery and light weights and treadmill at day 3. Normal workouts by day 7. I am very happy with the results so far.
