I understand your frustration, hair loss in women can be more stressful then men hair loss and can have bad psychological effect.
Dandruff does not cause serious hair loss, but it can increase hair fall by a significant amount.
You can treat dandruff by using Selsun blue with head & shoulders.
As for the hair loss, there are many causes and many solutions, first thing you need to do is to visit a good dermatologist in your area to detect the problem.
investigated with appropriate physical examination and laboratory tests until a diagnosis is confirmed. No treatment of hair loss should be undertaken until a diagnosis is made.

Many times the main cause is related to hormones (pregnancy, thyroid, ect..) or hypothyroidism and need to treated as part of overall effective treatment.
It can also be Androgenetic alopecia (a recurrent disease of unknown cause that results in patchy loss of hair from the scalp and/or eyebrows) or Alopecia areata (pattern hair loss with a typical pattern of diffuse hair thinning over the central scalp), in such cases a combination of Minoxidil and hair restoration can help.

Dandruff is one of the major problem that a person encountered and it may cause hair loss. Having a hair loss is not easy to manage because it may result to baldness. Try to use an anti dandruff shampoo. To prevent having a hair loss problem.

First, search for the cause of your dandruff. After finding the cause try to treat it. For sure it is the cause of your hair loss.

I've heard that Nizoral has been continued. Is there any truth to this, and if so, are there any replace hair products that contain the same effect? I was originally using the 1% Nizoral. Is it recommended that I switch to 2% prescription strength? I am also using Rogaine and Propecia to combat additional hairloss.

I have not been able to find it any of the drug stores in Houston. I was at CVS, and the pharmacist told me that they discontinued the 1% Nizoral, but they do have the prescription strength 2% version.

For dealing with dandruff, i can advice you to shampoo your hair every 2 days. Try using Tar shampoo for your hair. This is also suggested by doctors. While using Tar shampoo, wash your hair with a conditioner or a lemon juice to get rid of smell. Scalping your hair with a Coconut oil is the best remedy i have ever known.

"Head n shoulder" shampoo is so beneficial to get rid of dandruff problem. or you can also remove it through very simple solution as follows
Dandruff treatment using Green Gram Powder
A valuable prescription to get rid of dandruff can be done through green gram powder. The hair should be washed twice a week with two tablespoons of this powder mixed with half a cup of curd.
