C2g vs CIT

Postby kav » Thu Mar 29, 2012 3:36 pm

Dr. Cole,

I am interested in CIT and C2g and had a few questions.

How long does your hair need to be? I thought I had saw pictures online where it looked like a patient’s hair was relatively short.

When extracting the graft using C2g do you trim the hair from the graft and then use the PCID? Are all C2g extractions made with PCID or are other punches used?

Since the nature of C2g is to allow the patient to not shave their head this question may be unanswerable but, do you have any evidence that fue related white spots would be more prevalent with C2g vs. CIT. What I’m getting at with this question is would my donor be better off with CIT than C2g.

How time consuming is C2g vs. CIT.

Thank You,

kav

Hi Kav,
Long hair is actually an advantage with C2G, the doctor makes shaved patched and then extract the grafts from them. The long hair covers these areas.
We use the best hair transplant tool for you grafts, doesn't matter if it's CIT or C2G.
Check our patient gallery for shaved donor areas or call the office and our representatives will provide them to you via email.
