Bill,

We are thrilled that you are happy with your results so far. Please keep us updated with your progress! Expect more growth and fullness in the next 8 months. Enjoy the "propecia". :)

Blade,

You will not require a bandage. You may need to conceal scabs and pinkness in the recipient area with makeup or a hat for a several days after though.

I should be clearer. The scabs will fall of in a matter of several days. Pinkness can persist for months. Sometimes this can be concealed with existing hair, other times makeup etc. It is a subtle thing and can certainly go unnoticed.

Well I am actually thinking of having a procedure done soon.
I was only wondering, right after having the procedure, how would I conceal my head after leaving the office. Is it safe to wear a hat right away??

Yes, you can wear a hat. You just want to be careful not to do anything that will dislodge a graft or cause irritation.

temple hair restoration

Postby drcole » Wed Jan 05, 2005 12:05 am

it can take a little longer for hair to grow in the temples. we want the hair line to look very soft and natural. therefore we process these grafts a little more so that the growth is softer and more natural. the downside to this is that the growth can take up to 18 months for all of it to come in. it does grow however. also, anytime you graft into existing hair, it takes about 8 to 12 months to see an increase in fullness. you can bet one thing however. if the growth is good in the crown, it is going to be good in the temples too. looks great so far. you have joined the growing crowd of individuals who are glad they avoided the strip too.
