I started losing my hair in my early 20's. As others have stated, it made me feel as if I had been robbed of my youth. In my mid 20's (I'm now 53), I had Bosley do HT surgery using the old punch method. This has left many small round white scars on the back and sides of my head. I expressed concern about scarring after my first procedure, but the doctor assured me that the scars would shrink and disappear after a few years. At 53, I can tell you that they didn't disappear at all. In my opinion the old punch method of hair transplantation should have been illegal. At least the method they used on me. I am going to have Dr. Cole gradually restore my hairline and fill in the white round donor scars. I will post progress photos on this site as encouragement to other HT victims to demonstrate that there is an excellent solution available.

By the way, Rogaine has made a huge difference in the density of my hair. It appears, I have 2 times the hair I had before I started using Rogaine 8 months ago. I use it in the morning and evening as directed. First I wash my hair twice, dry it, then rub it into my scalp. I know some men are afraid to rub their scalp in fear that they will dislodge more hair. My hair is growing longer denser and thicker all over, but mostly in the top back area.

I have white/grey hair that is very forgiving of the old plug method, but the Rogaine has thickened my hair and made my hairline look a little pluggy in certain light. I am confident that Dr. Cole will be able to work wonders.
