400 FIT results on a African-American patient

Postby FITLocks » Thu Apr 14, 2005 5:32 pm

This patient's pictures were taken one year after his initial procedure of only 400 grafts into the temple areas. Here is a classic example of the “less is more” phenomenon and it also shows FIT results on a African-American patient. These grafts were extracted via Dr. Cole's FIT method and, as usual, they have matured beautifully and healthily. This is a good example of what can be achieved when excellent hair characteristics meet ultra-refined surgical techniques. A former Norwood class 3a, this patient now enjoys a more flattering but still age-appropriate hairline.

8) Hi all, How's it going? I don't mean to start a bunch of crap but theses are two different people. The ears are totally different. The neck is also different. In case you want to say that this person had his ears worked on, why would his neck diameter be different. I am very skilled when it comes to facial/head characteristics so I think I hold some credit on this one. I am not trying to bash but this is really bad. They are not even close to being the same person. I just don't understand why different pic's need to be put up unless donor areas are less than desireable. Can someone please show a decent donor after FIT so it will put people's minds at ease.I am so sick of the crappy pic's that I am actually considering not having the procedure. I will be more than happy to divulge my name to this site's administrator if needed. thanks

do you want to meet with the patient in person and confirm his results?
i think i can fix that for you...he is a very good guy.
About the difference between the ears...if you look in the before photo, it is taken with the camera from a different sngle (from way up) ...while in the after it is taken from a straight angle.
It is very insulting that you think that we put two different photos...with all the results that we have with FIT do you really think that we have a need to fake?

Headsup,

Skepticism is healthy when researching surgery. All I can tell you is that the before and afters are the same guy - we get good results here and we do not need to resort to underhanded marketing. Since the patient recognized his "before"s while we were taking his "after"s I feel confident that no mistake was made.

As you requested, here is another donor area after FIT - [url]http://www.forhair.com/Photo_Gallery/FIT_patient-_2000_grafts_7_month_post__surgery/

Scroll to the bottom of the page.

If you are worried about donor damage you are wise to reconsider getting a procedure. I believe that our patients are getting the some of the best donor results in the world BUT I cannot tell you to do surgery if you do not feel it is right for you. Good luck with your research.

Leon and headsup, Here is a shot of his donor before we shaved is head for the extractions on his 1st procedure.
As you can see, he has the same shirt and since he have hair arround the ears...that makes their shape different(including the angle).
Hope this clear up the issue.

The difference in the ears does look deceiving but why would ihti want to doctor up pics of the donor area. Seems to me if there was a scam (which there isn't) they'd want to revolve it around the frontal hairline. The donor area is not as crucial in a 400 fit procedure.

Loene,
I was actually refereing to "headsup", not to you. So, no offence :).
It is good to question...but why should i risk putting a different photo of the donor shot.
also, The ears are exposed more in the before (shaved donor) photo because there is no hair to cover them and with the upper angle of the shot...it looks different from the after photo that was taken with surrounding hairs that covers the ears and makes them look in a different shape.
Lets move on with this issue, it really is a good results and we wish him good luck with his 2nd procedure...
