Here is the resulting scar from a 3,062 strip surgery with Dr. Cole. These pictures were taken 14 months after the operation. We took a picture of the scar with the patient's hair long first. Then the patient allowed us to shave his head all the way down to take another picture of the scar. The width of the scar is pretty consistent, 1-2mm. The patient had another surgery after these pictures were taken to take more hair via FIT, at which point we grafted hairs into the scar to further improve the donor area.
